Ready for Spring!

The weather was a little warmer yesterday, so the girls and I went outside to play. I guess we're hoping if we get outside and act like it's spring maybe it will come sooner! Let's hope!

Addison is ready for splashing in her ladybug rain boots. It wasn't quite warm enough for them outside though.

Arilyn off roading with the car.

Hmm, what could I put in here??

I brought the dogs out with us so they could get some fresh air, too. I have a hard time keeping track of all 4 girls, so I put their collars on for our invisible fence. This is where they stayed the entire time we were outside! They hate their collars and are scared to move even though they have the whole back yard to run in! Pitiful!

Back inside Graysen wanted to play. She's really good playing with Arilyn and only pulled hard when Arilyn pulled really hard. It was funny to watch!

Children's Museum Birthday Party

Arilyn was invited to a birthday party last weekend at a children's museum. Shawn and I are friends with the parents, so we were all invited and we all had so much fun! Happy Birthday, Matan!

There was a huge climbing thing that the girls and Shawn spent a large portion of time in. Arilyn was all over the place. Addison needed some help from Daddy, but I don't think he minded!

Arilyn posing by the lego table.

Arilyn playing with the scale. She was concentrating hard- note the tongue sticking out.

This was a big dinosaur on the wall that you put the skeleton in place. Arilyn loves puzzles and did a pretty good job putting it together.

They had an almost life size ambulance. There were a ton of buttons you could push that turned the lights and sirens on. Addison had a lot of fun pushing them all.

Addison has become very fond of Elmo lately, but she doesn't say his name right. She saw this big Elmo and yelled "Melmo!" It was hilarious.

This was a shadow room, but it wasn't working. That didn't stop Arilyn. She kept running in and out of the room.

This was pretty neat- it was a wall with a bunch of slots in it. You put different plastic pieces in then let a ball go and it goes back and forth down the wall. Addison laughed and laughed watching the ball.

This was in the music room. As the washers went down the screws they made different noises.

Also in the music room- Arilyn made a ton of noise on the drums.

And so did Addison.

And Shawn had fun, too.

Finally...cupboards I can get into without getting in trouble!!

Christmas Still in MA...sort of...

Even though Christmas is what- 2 months in the past, Arilyn still wants to listen to the Christmas music...Transiberian Orchestra. We were listening to it today...again, and the girls were dancing. You can't really hear the music because the dancing turned into chasing, playing, screaming and falling down! Addison takes a spill and then Arilyn takes a 'sympathetic' spill- it's chaos. A normal day in the Campbell household!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I give a lot of credit to photographers who work with kids. It's hard work! I tried on several different days to get a good picture of the girls together and this was the best I could get! Arilyn does great, but Addison is just not into sitting still and smiling! No way! Oh well.

I love this picture!! She looks so cute.

This one isn't too bad, although I was tickling her with a feather duster to get her to sit still. It only worked for a minute and then she wanted to play with the duster.

And this is how it ended. Addison hiding and whining. "No more pictures, please!"

I bought these shirts for the girls to try to take a picture of them together for Shawn as a Valentine's day gift. That didn't work out too well either, but he liked it anyway.

Shawn was on call last night, so he got home around 8am. I had the girls dressed in these shirts to surprise him. They are definitely daddy's girls!

Shawn had a surprise for me when he got home this morning, too. When Shawn and I were dating, he would buy me a single rose every week. When we got married it all but stopped and I can count on my fingers how many times I've gotten flowers! haha! So he brings this really neat cake home today and recited a little poem- 'Flowers may be easy on the eyes, but this will look good on your thighs!' It was hilarious. And believe me- I was not upset at all. He truly knows me because I'd much rather have a cake to eat than flowers to throw away in a couple of days! Thanks Shawn- I love you!! (And notice that a little finger, Arilyn, is stealing a lick of icing while I'm taking the picture- she's sneaky!)

Silly Arilyn

Here is some random silliness from Arilyn.

The girls were playing with all the gloves, hats, and scarves one day. Arilyn found an ear warmer and looked like a goof!

Arilyn cuddling with Graysen.

These were attempts at getting a cute smile!

This one is pretty cute!

Silly Addison

Here is just some random silliness from Addison.

Shawn's parents got this Dora the Explorer hat for Arilyn last summer. Addison found it and hasn't taken it off since! She loves it.

It's still a little big on her head and it kept falling down over her eyes.

She wore it all day this day!

I have no idea what's she doing in this picture! Haha!

As I was downstairs putting clothes in the washer, Addison decided she was hungry. I just bought these rolls at Costco the day before and the only place it would fit in the pantry was on the bottom. I have no idea what I was thinking!! When I came upstairs she was munching away on one roll while the rest lay on the floor. Well, I take that back- she did leave one lone roll in the bag!

Arilyn's First Haircut

Yes, that's not a typo, this was Arilyn's very first haircut! It took so long for her hair to grow that I didn't do anything to it- not even a trim. Over the past few months I've been asking her if she wanted to get her hair cut and she kept saying no. A few weeks ago, she finally said yes! So I made an appointment and we got her hair cut! Well, it was more like a trim. It really doesn't look that different, but she took about 2 1/2 inches off.

Arilyn sat so still in the chair. I think she thought that it was going to hurt. She asked me a few times on the way there if it was going to hurt.

Arilyn kept looking up and watching in the mirror, but was so good.

The new do. Like I said, it doesn't look much different. It looks better though.

The happy girl.

More Fun in the Snow

More snow...more fun!

Arilyn absolutely loves to be outside. Look at that face!

Mommy and Addison

This one is for Abuelo, who splashes in puddles with the girls. They were soaked, but they had fun!
