A Few More Random Pics.

Piper LOVES Shawn :0)

Piper doesn't get to go on many car rides. Mostly because she doesn't like them! But I took her with me to Starbucks the other day. I'm not sure if she liked it any better but she did stick her head out the window a few times.

Alexa is really into Mickey Mouse after Disney on Ice. She wears the ears a lot!

Too cute! Can't wait for October!!

Disney on Ice

We go to Disney on Ice every year. You'd think the kids would be on to me by now, but I always try to keep it a surprise. This year I told them we were just going to Boston to get Chick Fila. They believed me! It was a fun surprise!

Some things never change…this is how Addison watched pretty much the entire show.

Owen was back and forth.

Apparently this is the only Disney on Ice show that has Pluto in it.

Babies!!

Finally Peanut had her babies! The kids were SO excited. We still haven't found official homes for them, but I'm trying.

I ran upstairs for something and just happened to stick my head in to check on Peanut and this is what I saw! Babies! Three babies.

I knew that they were going to come out completely covered with hair, but I had no idea how cute they were going to be!

They were walking around within an hour of being born. Thankfully she was done at three!

So cute.

The kids named them right away. This one is Brownie because it's got brown spots.

The middle one is Cookie.

And Pumpkin Pie because of the reddish orange spots.

And Peanut bounced right back. This is the day after having her babies. :0)

We got the babies out to hold them. They are mini guinea pigs!

Addison was way too excited.

I have to admit they were pretty darn cute!

Owen is not a big fan of holding the bigger guinea pigs, but he liked holding Cookie.

And Piper said hello. She was trying to lick it the whole time!

Growing Peanut

Peanut continued to get huge over the next two weeks! I really started to feel bad for her because she was so big!

Online it says that if a guinea pig is pregnant it will look eggplant shaped from above. Yep! Pretty eggplant shaped!

I was cleaning the cage so we took them out and put them in a box. I thought the difference between the two was quite funny and noticeable.

This was very close to the end- she wouldn't let Snowflake in the barn. Poor Peanut!

More Snow

It has been a very snowy winter this year, which is beginning to get a little old. But we enjoyed it again!

I thought this was so funny. The snowflakes were so big and Owen's eyelashes are so long that they were getting stuck to his eyelashes.

Snow Hiking

We went over to one of our friends house for dinner and a hike a few weeks ago. We got to see an opossum den, a beaver dam and lots of turkey prints. It was a lot of fun!

The Bigfoot Museum

I discovered online that there is a museum in Portland that has a life size stuffed bigfoot. Since we are a little bigfoot obsessed in our house, we had to go check it out. It was a really fun day!
