It's kind of a goofy smile. His eyes get all squinty, but let me tell you- after 6 weeks it is the most beautiful thing in the world! (Notice the dimple on the right cheek!)

Owen's 1st Smile!
Owen is starting to smile. It is so cute! He smiles at everyone and the girls love it when he smiles at them.

I came downstairs to find Addison curled up in Owen's car seat watching tv. She looked so funny!
It was 'pajama day' at preschool today and Arilyn was so excited. She wanted me to take her picture. They were allowed to take a stuffed animal, so she wanted to take her bunny.
Arilyn was sick over the weekend and Shawn was on call, so neither of them got much sleep. Arilyn crawled in Shawn's lap and fell asleep, then Shawn fell asleep. It was really cute.
This is just a picture of Owen in the cutest moose outfit. I love that the feet are little moose, too.

Owen's 1st Photo Shoot
I tried to get some creative pictures of Owen the other day. He wasn't as cooperative as I wanted him to be, so I didn't get the best shots, but they're ok for the first try.
He wasn't very happy about the photo shoot.

This is a little late since Shawn's birthday was on the 18th, but oh well. We didn't do anything special, but had a quiet celebration at home.

Owen is One Month!
Tomorrow Owen will be one month...already! I can't believe it. Time seems to go faster with each baby. He is doing great. He goes to the doctor on Wednesday, but his unofficial weight on our scale at home is 11.5 pounds! He's already fitting into 3 month clothes. It's so foreign to me to have such a big baby. Arilyn and Addison were so little forever. They could still wear newborn clothes at 4 weeks! He doesn't sleep the greatest during the day (probably due to all the noise coming from 2 little girls), but he does let me sleep 3 hours at a time most nights. Arilyn & Addison are still totally in love with him and I have to remind them to leave him alone. They love their little brother.

Owen's Room
I realized that I hadn't posted any pictures of Owen's room yet. So here are a few pictures of his room.
His crib- that he hasn't slept in yet! Well, he has taken a few naps in it, but that's it.

Owen's First Bath
Owen's cord finally fell off, so we gave him his first tub bath. He enjoyed it at first, but then decided it wasn't fun anymore.
He was smiling when I first put him in.
Then he was bored with it.
And once I washed his hair, the crying began!
Happy New Year
Yes, this is really late, but it was really cute so I had to post it. We had our New Year's celebration at 7:30pm before the girls went to bed. Of course, they have no idea what new year's is, but they had fun anyway! We wish everyone a happy new year!!
