First Big Snow of 2013

We had our first big snow storm last night and the kids were SO happy! We got around a foot overnight and the kids couldn't wait to get in it. They had to wait until it was nap time for Alexa because it was too cold for her to go outside. We're hoping this is the first of many!

It was pretty cold today, but we bundled up!

The snow plow came by and dropped a ton of snow at the end of our driveway, so Shawn got the snow blower back out. The kids were hilarious playing in it.

And this is where Ellie enjoyed the snow! She came out for a few minutes and she was done. Old Ellie.

This isn't snow, but I thought it was cute the way the light was shining on Alexa being naughty! She was taking stuff off the tree. I should have stopped her, but I wanted to get the picture first! :0)

Tree Decorating

We got the tree home, Shawn cut about 2 feet off because it was too tall and the decorating started. We had How the Grinch Stole Christmas playing while we decorated. Very fun!

Alexa was so mad in this picture. Apparently she thought Piper was in the way and kept telling her "Move Piper!" Piper never did :0)

And yet again I torture myself trying to get a cute picture of the kids in their Christmas jammies…why?? Why do I do it?? Here's a few samples of what we were dealing with…mainly just Alexa being totally uncooperative!

Christmas Tree Hunt 2013

We've gone to the same Christmas tree farm since we've moved to NH. It is so pretty and the people who own it are super nice. We didn't take too long this year to find a tree because it was really windy and cold! I think everyone was happy with the choice though.

Part of the reason we didn't take long…Alexa was hanging out in the carrier and doesn't stay warm like the other three who are running around.

Addison was getting very frustrated. She wanted to cut down every tree we saw!

I thought this was a cute pic of all three. Hopefully next year Alexa will be out of the carrier and I'll be able to get all four!

Shawn was sawing the tree and it started to fall…almost on Arilyn. It was pretty funny.

Done! Now to drag it to the car.

Addison is so sweet. She ran over to Shawn and gave him a big hug for cutting the tree down and I was able to snap the picture. So cute.
