Family Photo Session

We had some family pictures done for the first time the end of September. It was really nice not being the photographer and trying to get the kids to listen! We got a ton of pictures-here are some of my favorites...

Happy Thanksgiving!

We stayed home for Thanksgiving and had our old neighbors, the Maravichs, over for the day. It was so much fun! The boys smoked prime rib and turkey while the kids played outside. The moms got to talk and finish the side dishes inside. A great Thanksgiving!

 Welcome to the Campbell Spa and Resort! We did a craft with the kids where we painted their feet. Jess was in charge of washing the paint off their feet. Addison was really enjoying it!

Piper

I realized I never did a post dedicated to getting Piper...October was such a crazy month! New dog, lots of visitors, Owen getting his tonsils out- crazy! So here are some pictures of the kids with Piper. She is a good dog. It's different having a puppy with kids- I feel like a referee most days trying to keep Piper from chewing on beloved toys (and kids...and Ellie) but she is for the most part housebroken and is settling in well. She has her play times then in great dane fashion, has her very lazy times! She is growing fast and gained 13lbs in 2 weeks! She's going to be a big girl!

 Arilyn cuddling with Piper. She definitely is the closest with Piper. She is able to play with her and control her if she starts nibbling her. Addison and Owen like her, but are still nervous around her because of the puppy nibbles.

 Then the chaos started and Arilyn got lost in the pups! Addison got the heck out of dodge pretty quick!

 Alexa and Piper. Piper is pretty good around Alexa. I just have to pay attention that she doesn't step on her when she's on the floor- she doesn't really pay attention where she's walking. Piper also tries to take all of Alexa's toys!

 And tries to lick her slobber/spit up...gross!

We love our Piper!
