Happy Thanksgiving

A few days late, but better than nothing! We hope everyone had a great day. We had a nice, quiet Thanksgiving. We cooked a turkey and all the sides and had a great dinner. The girls didn't eat much except cranberry sauce and pie. Although Arilyn did eat all her turkey. We tried to have a photo shoot before dinner, but the girls weren't too cooperative. We did get a few good ones though.

The girls giving mommy a hug.

The girls not cooperating and being silly.

Finally- a decent one- the girls giving Owen a hug and kiss.

Shawn finally set the timer and got in a picture.

I almost didn't post this one because of how unbelievably huge I look, but I thought, what the heck. I still look huge, but it's a cute picture. We were finally sitting down to eat our yummy Thanksgiving dinner. I know it looks late, but it was only 5:15pm! And just for the record- that is sparkling grape juice in our glasses! The girls had some, too and thought they were big stuff! It was funny! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Playing in the Leaves

Wow- I didn't realize it has been almost a whole month since I posted anything. Not sure why- not a lot happens in November! I thought I should post something. We FINALLY raked the last of the leaves last weekend and the girls had a blast playing in them like always.

Arilyn throwing a huge pile on me!

Addison throwing leaves, although thankfully not as many as Arilyn.

Arilyn with leaves in her hair.

Arilyn finally posing in the leaves. She just wanted to play and throw them.

Addison getting lost in the leaves!

The girls and Ellie.

It's been interesting to watch how the girls and Ellie have changed since Graysen is no longer here. Arilyn and Addison have been paying a lot more attention to Ellie- petting her all the time, cuddling with her, and giving her cookies like crazy. Ellie's going to need to go on a diet! Ellie has changed, too. She's become a lot more cuddly, like velcro, really, but it's good and the girls love it. She's become even more tolerant of all the attention- if that's possible. It's cute to see them interact now and good for all of us.
