Owen is 9 Months!!

Owen is 9 months tomorrow! One year is approaching way too quickly! He continues to change and do new things all the time. The latest- crawling and pulling up! He's even started taking a few steps while holding onto toys or the couch. He'll be walking before we know it. He causes many headaches for the girls while they're playing! I hear all the time- 'Mom! Get him! He's going to get my- fill in the blank!' He is also talking a lot and says 'dada' nonstop! I'm trying to get him to say 'mama' but no luck yet. He just smiles and says 'dadada!' He is finally taking 2 regular naps, but still will not sleep through the night! He is getting his 2 front teeth and they are taking forever to come in, so he's been up a lot at night. I will get sleep...eventually!

Happy boy...with his mouth open!

Watching Arilyn play.

Trying to play on the playground with the girls.

Look- I can do this with one hand!

Arilyn is Five!!

I can't believe my baby just turned five years old! She is so big! Here's her five year old photo shoot...

Arilyn's Birthday Continues...

We had a little family birthday party on Arilyn's actual birthday on Monday. We had cake and opened presents- nothing big, however, we did have a visitor. Shawn's mom decided to come up for a few days. We didn't tell the girls about it, so we told them that Shawn had to go do stuff for work for a little while. He got home and came in then a few minutes later Rhonda rang the doorbell. The girls looked a little confused at first, but then they were so excited! It was really funny.

I thought this was a funny picture of Owen- I love the rolls!

The happy birthday girl!

The silly Addison.

Owen got to wear a Barbie crown, too!

Arilyn's really been getting into Sponge Bob lately, so I found this cupcake cake.

She loved it!

Blowing out the candles.

Again- the happy birthday girl- she loved all the attention.

Arilyn opening her presents. She got a Barbie mermaid and she loved it!

Arilyn has been asking for this movie forever and I finally found it. She was so excited!

Glamour Addison.

Grandma got Arilyn this serpent thing. It moves on its own and goes really fast!

She loved it!

And of course- Ellie had to have a Barbie crown, too!

Arilyn's Friend Birthday Party

Arilyn had her first friend birthday party last Saturday. She was SO excited! We had 16 four and five year olds running around. Thank goodness we rented a bounce house to keep them all entertained. She had a really good time.

The bounce house! They came and set it up at 9:15am so the girls had to try it out- pajamas and all! I thought this picture was funny because Arilyn's hair is crazy and Addison is jumping, too.

The birthday girl!

The birthday set up.

Party goers playing on the playground.

The Barbie cake.

Waiting patiently for the candles to be lit.

Blowing out the candles.

And back in the bounce house! Arilyn and Addison spent all day jumping in the bounce house! It was the best idea ever!

Arilyn and her best friend Lauren.

Opening presents- she got a butterfly net and Addison was catching me.

Opening presents.

More presents.

Addison was so tired. I thought she was going to fall asleep while Arilyn was opening all the presents!

She really liked this card.

Barbie sunglasses.

She kept the sunglasses on for the rest of the time she was opening presents.

Owen playing with some wrapping paper.

All the presents. Can we have any more pink?

Arilyn's First Day of Pre K

As we were going to bed last Thursday night, I told Arilyn good night and that she needed to get a good night's sleep because it was her first day of school on Friday. She explained to me in her matter of fact voice- Mommy- this isn't really my first day of school. I went to school last year. It was hilarious! Even so, she was still very excited!

What a sweet girl!

And again.

Her model shot.

In front of the school. She was complaining that it was too bright to take a picture.

By her cubby.
