Owen is Three Months!

I know I've said this with each month, but I swear time is speeding up every day! I can't believe Owen is 3 months already! He is still growing like crazy- he's up to 16 pounds! He sleeps great at night, only getting up usually once, but during the day is a different story. Like my other 2 children, he is a cat-napper right now and takes a lot of 20-30 minute naps. His pretty dark brown hair is falling out and is being replaced by light blonde hair. He has discovered his hands and that he somewhat has control over them. I think he will be a thumb sucker once he gets a little more coordinated. He sucks on his fists a lot. Surprisingly, the girls are still in love with him. I thought maybe they'd get tired of him, but not yet! Happy 3 months Owen!

My friend Mary sent me a bunch of clothes for Owen that her boys have out grown. I came across this vest and loved it! He looks so handsome!

Like I said, Owen sleeps really well at night so he's in a pretty good mood when he wakes up. This usually how I find him in the morning. He gets this big grin on his face as soon as he sees me! It's so sweet!

He's not trying to roll over yet, but he's definitely moving. This is how I found him the other morning- completely sideways in his crib. It was funny.

I took this video a few days ago. It's a little more interesting than the last one. He really gets into playing on his mat and since realizing he has some control over his hands he likes to hit his animals. It's pretty cute.

I was going through clothes in the basement to get rid of some stuff that doesn't fit anymore and I came across these dresses that the girls wore in my sister-in-law's wedding. As soon as the girls saw them, they wanted to wear them. I was surprised they still fit! But since they were wearing them, I decided to take some pictures. Here are the best ones...

Cuddly Ellie

Ellie has been really cuddly lately and I got some cute pictures of her cuddling with Arilyn & Owen. I don't have any of Addison and Ellie because usually as soon as Ellie puts her head on Addison or tries to cuddle, Addison moves. Then she tell me- Ellie tried to squish me!

The girls were up ridiculously early one day and were SO crabby, so in the afternoon I made them lay down and watch a movie. Arilyn wanted to lay on the floor and as soon as she did Ellie came and laid down beside her. It was really cute and Arilyn enjoyed it.

I was giving Owen some tummy time and I guess Ellie was jealous that I was paying so much attention to him because she had to get her head on the play mat and cuddle with Owen. He didn't mind sharing.

Goofy Girls

Arilyn went to the bathroom the other day while I was getting lunch ready and this is what she looked like when she came downstairs! Of course, Addison had to go get the other one. It was pretty funny. The funniest part though is that they kept them on while they were eating lunch! Goofy girls!

Nicer Weather...Finally

We've had a few days of nice weather (and by nice, I mean high 50's) so we have been able to get outside and play a little. The girls are loving it- and so is Mommy. Arilyn and Addison have been asking if we can have a bonfire, so we cleaned up the sticks in our yard from our willow tree and roasted a few marshmallows in our deck fire pit. The girls were in heaven and even Owen got to join in!
