Halloween Crafts and Pumpkins

We made a Halloween craft a few weeks ago that my friend Mary showed me in the Family Fun magazine. It was really cute and super easy. And the kids really enjoyed it because it involved paint! Then we carved our pumpkins a few weeks later. Of course the kids loved that! Happy Halloween!

Owen was really funny- he did not want to put his hand in the pumpkin guts at first. He eventually did and then it was everywhere, but it really surprised me!

VIsit with the Foulk's

After we went to Disney we went to visit our good friends the Foulk's, who moved to Orlando last year. We became good friends when Dave and Shawn were in medical school together and have been great friends ever since. It was so nice to see them and get all the kids together. Thanks Dave and Mary for a great visit!

I thought it would be funny to start with this picture. This was taken while the boys were still in medical school probably 8 and a half years ago. We hadn't had Ellie for very long and Dave and Mary had just gotten Maddy. Well before either of us had kids, we stayed up late having game nights together- the pre-kid life!

And here we are now! We have 6 (and a half) kids between us! No more late night game nights for us!

After years of planning we finally made it to Disney World! It was a great and tiring trip. I think everyone had a really good time! I can't wait to go back!

The stick bug from A Bug's Life- he saw Arilyn and her cast and was pointing to his arm and blew her a kiss. It was really cute! A lot of the characters paid attention to her because of her cast. We were at Magic Kingdom and Tigger and Pooh were walking through to get to their meet and greet place and Tigger stopped and gave Arilyn's arm a kiss!

Shawn found a huge spider while he was waiting for all the girls to use the bathroom. It was gross.

At our hotel there were huge letters that said 'All Star,' the name of our hotel. Arilyn was playing around one day sitting on the 'L.' She then told me that she wanted to sit in the 'A hole.' It was hilarious! I was laughing so hard and she was like- what's so funny? It was so funny to hear her say 'A hole!'

Our last night we all went out to dinner- we were trying to get everyone organized for a group photo and Alyssa was being silly...again.

The group- almost- Owen is hiding behind Addison- if you look close, you can see him. It was a great trip!!

Camille- she was the best behaved kid in the whole bunch!

We promised the girls that we would go swimming the last day. It was late by the time we got back, but we went anyway. This is Owen jumping in.

This was a big statue right by the pool. Owen kept going over to it and staring at Ariel. It was really funny.

He did end up taking his eyes off of Ariel for a picture!
