We decided to stay for the fireworks. They're supposed to be pretty good. We saw a few surrounding suburbs in the distance that were pretty good, but we were waiting for the big Boston show...that we never got to see! We asked a few people if you could see them from where we were at and they all said 'Oh yeah, you'll be able to see from here!' They were wrong! We would have been able to see them if there wasn't a huge building in the way. So we saw a sliver of the really high fireworks between the buildings. It was a HUGE disappointment. However, as we were walking to the car, Arilyn said- 'Mommy, I had SO much fun today!' Leave it to a child to always see the positive. She was just happy as could be with the museum and the distant fireworks we were able to see.

(Yes, Shawn and I have matching sweatshirts. This was not intentional! It was unusually cold and we didn't bring sweatshirts for ourselves, so we bought some while we were there!)
Addison was pooped! She was asleep well before the fireworks started!

What a disappointment on the fireworks. Thanks for letting me know about your blog. I'm such a bad person, but blogs are really my connection to the outside world sometimes.
