Sprinkler Fun

We found a really cool sprinkler at Walmart and decided to try it out the other day. It was a little breezy, so the girls weren't completely thrilled with it, but they had fun.

The sprinkler has a stream of water that shoots up from the middle. There are balls you're supposed to put in and the water keeps it suspended in air. It only worked a few times, but Arilyn thought it was hilarious when it worked.

Arilyn wanted me to turn the water off so she could get close enough to put the balls in. This is her trying to put the balls in without getting wet.

Addison was standing close to it when I turned the sprinkler on. She came running to me all upset saying- Sprinkler splash! I guess she didn't realize that getting splashed is the whole point!

Again, Arilyn trying not to get squirted.

Shawn came outside to watch and took control of the water spigot. He would turn the water off so the girls could get the balls...and then turn it back on while they were right next to it! They didn't take too kindly to Daddy's humor!

Graysen loves the water and wouldn't stop drinking it.
